According to answer.com,Secondary Shelf Life simply means, refers to the amount of time a product may be used once OPENED. Jadi, dalam kata lain, jangka hayat sesuatu produk setelah dibuka. Contohnya, Mayonnaise, you bought it yesterday and open it, that moment where the secondary shelf-life of your mayonnaise start. But,how many days? Why Secondary Shelf Life is so important? "Saya makan saja tu barang, tiada juga apa-apa,itu kicap entah berapa lama sudah disana,masih juga sedap" So, here I want to share you a littel information on this Secondary Shelf Life.

When foods or any perishable goods that we opened, with other factors such as expose to light,moisture,transmission of gasses and etc, will eventually contaminated (tu kuman merebak) by bacteria. Diaorang akan mula berkampung di makanan kita jika dbiarkan terlampau lama and will lead to FOOD POISONING.
